Losing a loved one is never easy. Planning the right way to say your goodbyes to them can be even harder. Let’s talk and discuss what you would like. Whether it’s a funeral or a celebration of life we can craft a service using your memories and their stories to truly honour their memory. I will support you every step of the way, either liaising with your funeral director or assisting in organising a celebration of life service. I want to take the stress of a difficult time away from you.

When I am engaged, I will arrange a suitable time to meet you, and we can talk about your loved one. This can be at your home, or anywhere where you feel comfortable, and can include anyone else you would like to be there.

Together we can plan the service, taking those memories you have, the choices of music and any readings, and have something that reflects them fully.

As an independent celebrant I am completely flexible with what you would want and can offer non-religious, semi-religious or spiritual services that are sympathetic to all cultures or backgrounds.

My job is to help you create the right service for your loved one and give them the send-off that you feel they deserve.

So, you're still with us?

Ever wonder that the last time you are ever going to be the complete centre of attention you have absolutely no say in what’s going to happen?  Or how people will remember you?

Let’s address the big elephant in the room. We are all going to kick the bucket/shuffle of this mortal coil/become an ex-parrot. In short – we all die at some point. And a proportion of us won’t have discussed what we’d like in terms of a service. We won’t have mentioned any music that we’d like, or particularly meaningful poetry or readings that we feel sum us up.

With adverts for direct cremation services filling our TV screens people are becoming more aware of what flexibility they now have in terms of how our deaths are marked, whether that’s a simple scattering of ashes or a massive party. But it’s still a fact that most people don’t discuss what it is they would like, and it’s generally left to the family to decide.

But why wait? Why not have your wishes known? If I’m honest, my ideal client is one who is still alive. Someone I can sit and chat to and make sure their memory is honoured in the way they would want it to be.  That may even be that you have a living service so that you can enjoy what people say about you.

So, if you’re still alive and kicking and want to know that the very last time you are that centre of attention, give me a call and lets discuss it.
